North Side Housing and Supportive Services is a Chicago based, comprehensive social service agency, providing six programs including an emergency shelter and support for people who are homeless in Chicago. At North Side, we believe the label homeless person needs to be changed. Instead, people experience homelessness, but inherently, that’s not who they are.

I’m a college student, and have been working on paper that takes a look at how young professionals are being laid off. I wanted to say thank you for the information on your web site. I had no clue that so many young people with bachelors degress end up homeless in Chicago.
If you ever need a volunteer to teach basic computer skills, I can help.
